CHARLOTTETOWN – A five run third inning was more than enough for Québec to claim their first gold medal in baseball at the Canada Games since 1993 with an 8-1 win over Alberta.
CHARLOTTETOWN – Alberta came up with perhaps the biggest surprise of the tournament at the Canada Games by upsetting heavily favoured Ontario by a score of 2-0 to reach the gold medal game.

OTTAWA – A four run fifth inning broke a 4-4 tie as Alberta went on to capture the Senior Men’s Championship with an 8-4 win over Québec in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
