Hello from Summerside, Prince Edward Island. We are very proud to be the hosts for the 2010 Baseball Canada Peewee Boys Atlantic Championship to be played at beautiful Queen Elizabeth Park in the heart of our historic city. Eight of the best under 13 year old baseball teams from Atlantic Canada will battle it out for the Championship title.
Please have a look at the following as it contains important information for our participants.
Teams:
All teams must arrive in Summerside by 12 noon on Thursday, Sept 9th.
Accomodations:
Our host hotel is The Causeway Bay Linkletter Hotel located at 311 Market Street in Summerside. Room rates have been arranged at $95/night. Phone numbers are 902-436-2157 or 1-800-565-7829. All teams are encouraged to help our association costs by making this your hotel of choice. The hotel is located only a couple of blocks or a short walk from Queen Elizabeth Park .
Banquet:
A banquet will be held on Friday, Sept 10th at 8pm at The Causeway Bay Linkletter Hotel. Individual awards will be presented for round robin play. Banquet is open to all players, coaches, team officials and umpires. Sorry parents, but you'll have to organize your own party for this evening !
Ball Fields:
All games will be held at Queen Elizabeth Park which houses both VIV Field and Gordie Arsenault Field. Canteen facilities available on site at QEP.

Meeting:
A pre-tournament meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Sept 9th at 2:00pm. Meeting to be held at Parkside Elementary School which is located beside Gordie Arsenault Field in Queen Elizabeth Park. Each team is permitted to send 2 reps plus their Provincial rep. All umpires will attend as well.
Umpires:
Umpires must arrive in Summerside by Wednesday, Sept 8th at 4pm. Accomodations have also been arranged at The Causeway Bay Linkletter Hotel in Summerside. Rooms are paid for by the host committee from Sept 8th. Arrangements will be made by host committee to pick up umpires at Ch'town airport. Game Admission Prices:
Prices for tournament games will be as follows: Day Pass $10....Tournament Pass $20...Passes will be available on site and children under 12 will be admitted free of charge.
