A message from Summerside Mayor Bill Martin
On behalf of the City of Summerside and its citizens, I want to extend a warm welcome to everyone participating in the “2017 Ray Carter Cup 15U Baseball National Championships taking place August 24th to 27th at Queen Elizabeth Park. We are excited to have you in our city as events like this add significantly to the vibrancy and social fabric of our community. We love a good baseball championship and I can guarantee the stands will be packed.
To all the athletes, Baseball Canada staff, officials, umpires, families and fans, I hope you will find time during your stay to enjoy our beautiful City and the warm hospitality Summerside has to offer.
You’ve already had a great season to get to this championship. I commend you all for your dedication and commitment to your sport. Thank you also to the tournament volunteers and sponsorship partners. You all deserve to be recognized for your efforts and the many months of work involved in planning for this prestigious national event.
