Greetings from the 2025 Baseball Canada 15U Ray Carter Cup Organizing Committee!

 

We are pleased to welcome you to Summerside! Plans are well on their way to ensure this year’s championship will be agreat one. Please take the appropriate time to review the outlined details regarding our championship so that yourexperience in Summerside will be an enjoyable one. Once again, we are very pleased to be your hosts for this year’s Baseball Canada 15U Ray Carter Cup!

 

Team/Player Information 

Arrival: August 20th at 4:00 pm

Welcome Event – August 20th 6:15PM at Queen Elizabeth Park Concourse area. BBQ Buffet

Home Run Derby: Home Run Derby beginning at 7:00 PM on the VIV Field. Teams are asked to contact Gary Barlow (gmbarlow@gov.pe.ca) for further details.

Pre-Tournament Meeting – August 20th at 5:00pm

Location: Quality Inn and Suites - Dunning Rankin Room

Opening and Closing Ceremonies

Opening Ceremonies: 6:45 PM / Thursday, August 21st on the VIV Field.

Closing Ceremonies: 9:00 PM / Sunday, August 24th, VIV Field (Directly following the conclusion of the Championship Game).

For those teams planning on using their own bus or vehicles, please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly. For those teams planning to utilize the host transportation: transportation will be provided from the airport to the hosthotel, and game day shuttles for players, coaches, and team personnel will be provided to and from the venue before andafter games.

Accommodations

Room blocks at hotels are set aside by the host however teams/provincial offices are responsible for managing their respective hotel blocks. If you are unsure of your hotel situation, it is recommended to reach out to your provincial baseball association as they have been in contact with the hosts and/or Baseball Canada to block rooms.

Live Streaming

All games will be live streamed. Links to the stream will be provided when available. This will be a pay-per-view streaming service. 

 

Umpires Arrival – August 20th 4:00 pm

Umpire Meeting – TBD

Transportation Transportation has been arranged to and from the airport and during the championship for all umpires.

Umpires have been assigned to The Loyalist Country Inn & Conference Centre.

Fields

The venue for the 2025 Baseball Canada 15U Ray Carter Cup is The Queen Elizabeth Park. Both fields are located at 199 Summer St, Summerside, PE C1N 3K1

  • Legends Field (Right/left field lines 255'/Center field 290')

Full Event Individual Passes:

  • Adults $50.00
  • Students (11-19) $40.00 
  • Seniors (65 +) $40.00

Full Event Family Passes:

  • 2 Adults and 2 Students $120.00 
  • 2 Adults and 2 Seniors $120.00

Event Day Passes:

  • Adults $20.00
  • Students (11-19) $15.00 
  • Seniors (65+) $15.00

Special Group Rate:

  • 2 Adults and 12 Student Event Passes $250.00
