Located at 199 Summer Street inside Queen Elizabeth Park, Legends Field was named “to honour those who have made a significant contribution to baseball in the Summerside area”.
As part of the field’s name, in 2013 the Sports Heritage Committee Page helped to erect the Legends Field Monument to honours those influential to the game of baseball in Summerside on a bronze plaque. Every year, a ceremony is held to induct new names onto the monument.
