Victoria Scores in Each Inning to Dominate Alberta and Advance to Final

With an offence that generated runs in each inning, including a 9 run 4th, the host Victoria Wildcats are off to the Pee Wee AAA National Final after defeating Alberta 16-1. Leading the way for Victoria was slugger Matt Ney, who was 3 for 5 on the day, with 2 doubles and 2 RBIs, earning the Game MVP honours. Justin Meurs also had a 3 hit game including a single, double and triple and Jackson McCuaig also contributed 3 hits and 3 RBIs. Luke Hawkins started on the hill for the 'Cats and was very strong, allowing 1 run on 3 hits, 2 walks and 4 strikeouts. For Alberta, Markus Fergusson, Curtis Mazurkewich and Liam Liston had their 3 hits and Stephane Legault was named Game MVP. Victoria now moves on to face powerhouse Quebec who scored 12 in the first to defeat Ontario (see below) 15-5. Alberta will play for the Bronze against Ontario.
