The Girl’s Baseball Committee and Baseball Manitoba are proud to be hosting the 2022 Women’s Open Baseball Championships at Fines Field Baseball Facility in Stonewall, Manitoba. Plans are underway to ensure the championship will be an exceptional experience for players, coaches, officials, and fans.

Stonewall is a town in the province of Manitoba with a population of 5,046 as of the 2021 census. The town is situated approximately 25 kilometres (16 mi) north of Winnipeg on PTH 67.

The settlement of Stonewall was found in the 1800's as a major limestone production centre. Stonewall still proudly maintains its heritage of limestone production through their many historical buildings. Main Street is lined with notable limestone buildings such as the Post Office/Library and the Town Hall. For those history buffs here is some additional information.

The Stonewall Quarry Park has been maintained as a natural area on the edge of town and provides picnic facilities and walking trails for visitors and residents alike.

 The Quarry also displays the many aspects of limestone production. The history of the site is documented in interpretive signage.
