Baseball Canada and the Athletic and Social association of Hull- Volant welcomes you to Baseball Canada’s 2017 21U Men’s Championship in Gatineau, Québec on August 17th through August 20th.
Please be aware of the following tournament details
Teams : a total of 10 teams will be participating in the championship .. see link for details
Arrival : All teams are asked to arrive at their respectful hotels (Ramada Manoir du Casino or Quality Inn and suites in Gatineau) before 4:00 pm on the 16th of august.
Transportation; Will be provided for teams and umpires arriving from airport.
Airport; All teams will be provided with transportation from the Ottawa airport to the hotel. Please send team flight schedule to marco.daigle@hullvolantjrelite.ca before July 30th 2017.
Welcome Banquet : All teams (players and coaches) are asked to present themselves to Field #1 (Sanscartier Park) on Wednesday August 16th at 6 :00 pm to register and receive their tournament passes. There will also be a meal served on site at 6 :30 pm as well as a Home Run Derby at 7 :30 pm. Parents, family and guests are welcome to come and encourage the players. Entrance to this activity is free for everyone.
Coaches meeting ; Wednesday august 16th at 6 :30pm at Sanscartier chalet (maximum of 2 persons per team)
Hotels; All players, coaches and umpires will be staying at the RAMADA MANOIR DU CASINO or at the QUALITY INN ET SUITES in Gatineau. Parents and guests are also invited to reserve with both official tournament hotels. Teams are encouraged to directly communicate with Marco at the following email address marco.daigle@hullvolantjrelite.ca or by telephone 613- 447- 5669 to confirm their assigned hotels determined by the host committee.
Opening Ceremony; Thursday, August 17th at 6:30 pm at the Sanscarter Park in Gatineau
Closing ceremony and prizes ; Sunday, August 20th following the gold medal game.
Fields; Sanscartier Park in Gatineau (Provincial Park) and the RCGT Ottawa Stadium
Officials : Please send your respectful Official’s contact information including email address and telephone number by July 30th at the latest.
Umpires; All umpires will be staying at the RAMADA MANOIR DU CASINO. Umpire transportation is TBA

Weekend Pass (4 days) : 60$
Day Pass: 20$

Special requests : Please send any special requests (i.e practice fields and batting cages) to marco.daigle@hullvolantjrelite.ca by July 30th at the latest
Amenities ; Both fields will be offering cantine and alcohol services. Any other alcohol or food products not provided by food venders at the event or by the host committee is prohibited on site.
Damages / Responsabilites; Any damages brought to the hotel rooms, fields, transportation and/or equipment will be charged to the people, teams or organisations responsible.
Sunflower seeds; The consumption of sunflower seeds is STRICTLY prohibited on field and on tournament site.
