Please take the appropriate time to review the outline details regarding our championship so that your experience in Spruce Grove will be an enjoyable one.
TEAMS: (Players, Coaches and Team Officials)
Teams must arrive in Greater Edmonton by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2012.
Players and Coaches are asked to be at the Henry Singer Park starting at 5:00 p.m. July 24, 2012. A short opening ceremony will take place at 6:00 pm and a welcome Barbeque (Complimentary for Players, Coaches and Manager). Teams are reminded that team pictures are taken at this time so teams are encouraged to wear team attire.
Accommodations for players are as follows:
The tournament hotel will be the Ramada Inn in Stony Plain. It is located 5 minutes from the diamonds. Please call and book your accommodations, mention the women’s National championship to get preferred rates. Call 1-780-963-0222.

All arranged accommodations must be book by June 24th in order to get the preferred rates and ensure space.
We encourage all teams and officials to fly into Edmonton International Airport. There are various rental companies that rent 15 passenger vans in Alberta. We encourage each team make arrangements for all their transportation as soon as possible to ensure transportation for the event.
All games will be played at the Henry Singer Ball Diamonds in Spruce Grove. There will be batting cages made available to teams during the tournament and there are other fields that can be used for practice and warm up located in the facility.
MEETINGS:
The Pre-Championship Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 24 starting at 8:30pm at Henry Singer Diamonds in Spruce Grove (In the championship head quarters). Each team is permitted only to send two (2) reps per team and their provincial representative.UMPIRES: Umpires should arrive in Spruce Grove by 4:00 p.m. on July 24, 2012.
Umpires are asked to be at the Henry Singer Ball Diamonds for the opening ceremonies and welcome barbeque.Transportation: is the responsibility of the teams.
