Baseball Canada Announces Rally Cap National Winner

OTTAWA- Baseball Canada is pleased to announce that the winner of the Rally Cap national prize is Emily from Gatineau, QC. Emily was randomly selected from numerous submissions from the Rally Cap Player of the Week draw. Baseball Canada received submissions from Rally Cap participants all over Canada.

Emily’s prize will be a trip to Toronto including transportation for 2 people, 1 night accomodation, 2 tickets for 2 Blue Jays games and 2 official Baseball Canada hats. Emily will be joined by her family in Toronto and is really looking forward to the experience.

“Emily (and all of the family) is really excited and looking forward to seeing the Blue Jays in action,” says Emily’s mother, Shannon.

Five year-old Emily just finished her first year in the Rally Cap program as part of the Aylmer Amateur Baseball Association. Emily progressed through the white and grey levels of the Rally Cap program. She enjoyed playing 3rd base which is also the favourite position of her older brother Justin.

Her mother, Shannon, says that Emily loved playing her favourite sport and progressing through the different levels of the program.

“Emily loved playing with other children as part of a team and can't wait to play again next year!” continued Shannon.

Congratulations to Emily and best wishes for a safe and enjoyable trip with your family to Toronto!
