With Gareth Morgan (Toronto, ON) getting the call last night (74th overall, Seattle Mariners), a total of three Canadians have been selected through the first ten rounds of the draft.
In the 6th round, the Houston Astros used the 166th overall selection to take Dykxhoorn out of Central Arizona College where he compiled a 9-4 record with a 2.77 ERA in 13 games in 2014. He also struck out 114 batters in 78 innings pitched.
