OTTAWA- Baseball Canada’s 50 for 50 contest, to determine the top moment in the organization’s 50 year history, is now down to six moments/stories after Canada wins gold at 1991 World Youth Championship emerged from the first group of five semi-finalists.
OTTAWA- The 2010 version of the Junior National Team featured a group of 20 teenagers that won the hearts of the locals in Thunder Bay, Ontario when the northwestern Ontario community played host to the IBAF World Junior Baseball Championship.

MATANZAS, Cuba- The eight-game Cuba Summer Series came to a close today and it was Cuba who avenged a pair of losses yesterday beating the Junior National Team 7-4.
MATANZAS, Cuba- It was a long day at the ballpark for the Junior National Team as three games were completed today with a total of 17 1/3 innings played as the Cuba Summer Series entered the home stretch. Weather delays over the past three days caused the schedule to be altered in order to complete the eight game series.
