BUENOS AIRES, Argentina - Canada won their first game of the WBSC Americas Pan Am Qualifier against Panama, 6-5, in extra innings.
BUENOS AIRES, Argentina – The Canadian Men’s National Team is in Argentina and will take on four nations from June 16-21 at the WBSC Americas Pan Am Qualifier Tournament looking to earn a spot in the Pan American Games later this year. The tournament features a round-robin where Canada will face Panama, host Argentina, Peru, and Honduras with the top two teams meeting in a winner-take-all final on June 21. The winner of tournament will punch their ticket to the 2023 Pan American Games baseball competition in Santiago, Chile from October 21-27. All 11 tournament games will be livestreamed free of charge in the WBSC-owned OTT platform, GameTime.
DUNEDIN, FL - The Men’s National Team Training Camp is underway at Toronto Blue Jays Player Development Complex. The camp features two workouts and two scrimmage games against the Ft. Lauderdale Stars, in preparation for the 2023 Pan Am Qualifier next week in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
