Greetings from the 2025 Baseball Canada 16U Girls Championship Organizing Committee!
We are pleased to welcome you to Moncton NB this summer! Plans are well on their way to ensure this year’s championshipwill be great one. Please take the appropriate time to review the outlined details regarding our championship so that yourexperience in Moncton will be an enjoyable one. Once again, we are very pleased to be your hosts for this year’s BaseballCanada 16U Gils Championship!
Team/Player Information
Arrival: Wednesday August 19 at 4:00pm
Welcome Event – Will be part of Opening Ceremonies on Thursday
Pre-Tournament Meeting – Aug 20th 7:00pm at the Delta Hotel.

Opening and Closing Ceremonies
Opening Ceremonies will take place on Thursday Aug 20 Prior to 7:30pm Game
Closing Ceremonies will take place on Sunday following the Gold Medal Game
Transportation
For those teams planning on using their own bus or vehicles, please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly. For those teams planning to utilize the host transportation: transportation will be provided from the airport to the host hotel, and game day shuttles for players, coaches, and team personnel will be provided to and from the venue before and aftergames.
Accommodations
Room blocks at hotels are set aside by the host however teams/provincial offices are responsible for managing their respective hotel blocks. If you are unsure of your hotel situation, it is recommended to reach out to your provincial baseball association as they have been in contact with the hosts and/or Baseball Canada to block rooms.
Accommodations for participants at the event will be at Delta Hotel and the Crown Plaza Hotel.
