Additional Information for Team Management

TM1. Cyril Muise is the Director of Host Services and is responsible to oversee all hosting activities.  He may be reached at 902-209-9095 or cyril.muise@bellaliant.net.

TM2. The organizing committee will be assigning a team host for each out-of-province team to enable team participants to enjoy their experience at the championships. Jonathan Campbell is the coordinator of the team hosts and can be reached by phone at campbelljon2@gmail.com or by email at 902-225-5165.

TM3. The Host is responsible to provide transportation to and from the airport, to and from games and championship events. We can do this at no cost to a team however we do have a second option for each team’s consideration.

The Host has secured enough six passenger vehicles such that each team could be issued 4 vehicles. The vehicles are fully insured, equipped with a bridge toll pass and would be available for the exclusive use of the team during their stay in Halifax. The only restriction is that a driver must be a minimum of 25 years of age. This would enable teams to do some sight-seeing, go out to eat, shop or check out other games of the championships. A team choosing this option would pay $1,000 to the Host and return the vehicles full of gas at the airport. While Mount Saint Vincent is in an urban area, it is some distance from restaurant and stores etc. We do have public transit, taxi and ride share but we believe that this option provides the best value.

Payment of the $1000 is due upon arrival at the airport and e-transfer is preferred.

For both options, a detailed travel itinerary will be provided by your team host which includes departure times for games and events.
