The final two teams for the Canadian Senior Baseball Championship have been determined with the Ontario Baseball Association elimination tournament having been concluded on Mon. The Windsor Stars will return to Dartmouth, Nova Scotia for the nationals, after going 7-0 in the 26 team Ontario double-knockout event. The Stars defeated the Ilderton Red Army to capture the crown, the Red Army will also make the trek to Dartmouth.
The Stars won the bronze medal last year when they defeated the team from Newfoundland, represented by the St. John's WINMAR Capitals, 1-0.
The Red Army, in their second year of operation, will make their national debut. The team is comprised of players from the London/St. Thomas area, a baseball hot bed.
