Baseball Canada mourns the loss of Ida Carter

OTTAWA-It is with great sadness that Baseball Canada announces the passing of Ida Carter, the loving wife of Baseball Canada President Ray Carter.

Ida lost her courageous battle with cancer on Sunday May 1^st, 2011 while surrounded by her loved ones.

Ida was a tremendous wife, mother and grandmother, and an avid baseball fan, she will be dearly missed.

Donations, are to be made in Ida's name to any of the following:

-Canadian Breast Cancer Society (Vancouver Division)

-Irene Thomas Hospice

-Delta Hospital
