Dartmouth, NS-Baseball Canada’s Peewee Atlantic Championship got off to a wet start as only two of the four scheduled games were played on Day 1 due to rain.
NB1 Dieppe-4 NL2 Mount Pearl-0
Jeremie Arsenault (Dieppe, NB) and Nick Woods (Riverview, NB) combined to one-hit Mount Pearl as Dieppe earned a 4-0 shutout win. Woods also scored two runs and collected one hit while Chris Higgins had two hits.
Dartmouth-6 PEI1 Summerside-5
Kyler McGregor (Dartmouth, NS) was solid on the mound for Dartmouth, as he went 5 1/3 innings and struck out twelve Summerside batters. Dartmouth scored five runs in the bottom of the seventh, including a RBI single from Andrew Martell (Dartmouth, NS), to give them the walk-off win.
