OTTAWA – Three more National Champions have been crowned at the Baseball Canada National Championships and some familiar names are at the top.
OTTAWA – Teams are jockeying for position at the Baseball Canada National Championships. In Toronto, three teams have guaranteed themselves a shot at a medal, while the other three championships teams are starting to pull away.
OTTAWA – Ontario and Québec have qualified for the medal round in each of the Baseball Canada National Championships which they were eligible. This time, they will attempt to bring home medals in the Bantam Boys, Bantam Girls and Senior Men’s Championships.
OTTAWA – More rain following tornado hits in Vaughan, Ontario have caused some more delays for the Bantam Boys Championship. In nearby Toronto, the Bantam Girls Championship got underway, but seems to be experiencing some delays due to weather as well. As for the Senior Men’s championship in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia; and the Peewee Western Championship in Red Deer, Alberta, it is smooth sailing.
OTTAWA – At three of the four Baseball Canada National Championships ongoing this weekend, there were some one-sided victories, while the fourth championship saw some intense battles go to the bitter end.
OTTAWA – The Rally Cap program has brought back the passion in minor baseball in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Québec. For ten weeks, this program has allowed children to be introduced to the sport, have fun and develop some of the basic skills of the game.

OTTAWA – Thunderstorm warnings in southern Ontario has caused delays at the Bantam Boys Championship in Vaughan, Ontario. Despite possible hurricane forecasts in the Nova Scotia region, clear skies have prevailed in Dartmouth for the Senior Men’s Championship.
OTTAWA – The 2009 Canada Summer Games are already underway in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island and week two of the Games will feature baseball from August 24th-28th and TSN and RDS are along for the ride.
OTTAWA – Tie breakers and dramatics were in full force in the final day of the Midget National Championship in Fredericton, New Brunswick and only one could come out with the title.
