OTTAWA – Several Baseball Canada National Championship host sites have been confirmed following decisions made during the Baseball Canada Fall Convention, recently held in Winnipeg. These selections will bring national-level athletes and teams to communities across the country over the coming years.
A major highlight includes the awarding of five-year hosting cycles to two Ontario communities:
Vaughan will host the Ray Carter Cup (15U) from 2027–2031.
Woodstock will host the 13U National Championship over the same 2027–2031 period.
Woodstock has successfully hosted the 13U event annually since 2023, while the Ray Carter Cup will return to Vaughan after the community previously hosted seven consecutive tournaments from 2009–2015.
Summerside, PEI has been awarded three major championships, including the 2027 Baseball Canada Cup — in addition to hosting duties already confirmed for 2026 (Baseball Canada Cup and the Ray Carter Cup). The community will also host the 18U National Championship in 2028 and 2029.
Moncton, New Brunswick has been awarded three events, including back-to-back editions of the 16U Girls Championship beginning in 2026, along with the 2028 Baseball Canada Cup. Moncton previously hosted this event in 1994, 2011, and 2018.
Saskatoon, Saskatchewan will host the 19U Women’s National Championship in 2026 and 2027, while Fort McMurray, Alberta will host the 18U National Championship in 2030 and 2031.
In Manitoba, Stonewall will host the 18U Championship in 2027, and Winkler will host the 22U Championship that same year.
Baseball Canada has also awarded hosting rights for the Men’s National Championship over a three-year cycle:
Edmonton, Alberta in 2027
Tecumseh, Ontario in 2028
Red Deer, Alberta in 2029
Congratulations to all host communities on being selected to welcome national championships in the years ahead.
