Havana, Cuba- The scheduled doubleheader between the Junior National Team and Cuba has been cancelled due to heavy rainfall.
This marks the 5th and 6th games that have been cancelled because of rain to this point in the Cuba Summer Series.
The plan is to play two 9 inning games tomorrow beginning at 9:30 am ET and perhaps more if time permits. The JNT will fly home late tomorrow evening from Varadero.
Projected starting pitchers for games 1 and 2 tomorrow are Jesen Dygestile-Therrien (Montréal, QC) and Ryan Kellogg (Whitby,ON) respectively.
