OTTAWA – It’ll be a busy week for Canadian baseball fans as a total of five National Championships are scheduled for this week following the conclusion of the Baseball Canada Cup in Saskatoon, SK. British Columbia won gold at the event on Monday by defeating Saskatchewan 10-1.
OTTAWA- Baseball Canada announced today 24 players that have been invited to the Junior National Team’s final selection camp that will take place on Australia’s Gold Coast from August 16th- 24th.
OTTAWA – British Columbia captured their 3rd first place finish in 3 years at the Baseball Canada Cup on Monday by defeating the host team Saskatchewan by a score of 10-1.BC’s gold medal made it the second time in Canada Cup history that a province win three consecutive championship.
OTTAWA – Medals are on the line Monday in the last day of competition at the Baseball Canada Cup and competition is really heating up. Host Saskatchewan took on Ontario while defending champs British Columbia took on Québec in the two semi-finals.
OTTAWA – The 27th annual Baseball Canada Cup Championship gets under way tomorrow in Saskatoon, SK. Some of the country’s best young talent will be representing their respective provinces in hopes of bringing home a medal.
OTTAWA-The month of July provided Canadian baseball fans with plenty to cheer about after an extremely successful run at the Pan American Games for Baseball Canada’s National Teams. With August nearly here, there will be plenty more baseball excitement in store as nine of ten National Championships are set to take place, while the Junior National Team will select 20 players to compete in the WBSC U-18 World Cup in Osaka, Japan from August 28th - September 6th.
Major League Baseball International will take the MLB Roadshow to Canada for the second consecutive year with the event traveling to three provinces across the country. The MLB Roadshow debuted in Canada last year and has visited 13 countries on four continents including Australia, China, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, Portugal, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
