Havana, Cuba- Jerod Bartnik (Surrey, BC) scored the go ahead run in the top of 10th from second base, after Jacob Robson (Windsor, ON) bunted and the throw to first base rolled into foul territory. The Junior National Team added another run and eventually went on to a 9-7 win.

Havana, Cuba-After two days of rainouts, the Junior National Team and Cuba resumed their exhibition series with a doubleheader at historic Latinoamericano Stadium in Havana, sort of. After the Cubans took game one, 4-1 in a 7 inning contest, the second game was cancelled due to rain after three innings with the JNT in front 2-0.
OTTAWA- Baseball Canada would like to announce the 16 finalists for ‘Canada’s Favourite Ballpark’. After receiving over 40 submissions, the field has been narrowed to 16 parks that will compete for the title of ‘Canada’s Favourite Ballpark’.

Havana, Cuba-The scheduled game between the Junior National Team and Cuba has been cancelled due to rain.
Guines, Cuba- The Junior National Team faced a doubleheader with Cuba one day after the Cubans scolded the Canadians 14-3 in game one of the Cuba Summer Series. In the first game the Canadians kept it close, but Cuba hung on for a 3-1 victory before the second game saw a similar result to yesterday’s game, this time, a 14-5 Cuban victory.
Guines, Cuba – Cuba pounded out 18 hits en-route to a 14-3 drubbing of the Junior National Team in the opener of the 9-game Cuban Summer Series.
