In the fourth inning with Summerside up 5-2, Jesse MacFarlane (North Carleton, PEI) knocked in a pair of runs with a single to give his club a commanding five run lead. Summerside would score one run in the fifth and another two runs in the sixth to put the game out of reach. Halifax attempted a comeback by scoring three runs in the latter stages of the game, but it was too little too late as Barlow struck out the final batter to secure the victory.
